How many people can say that they are truly doing that which is their passion!
Make – Up Artistry is my passion, I have always wanted to do be involved in the make – up industry but due to circumstances I could not pursue my goals until much later in my life!
I did a personal make – up course in 2001, and new then what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. But I had bills to pay and kids to raise and only in 2006 I finally had the opportunity to complete a course in Day, Evening and Bridal Make – up. What a wonderful privilege to be working in this industry as a full time Professional Make – Up Artist!.
My first make – up workshop was held in December 2006, I was so nervous and had 35 ladies attending the course! I was so proud of myself and from then on have held many ladies workshops, where I teach ladies the secrets to applying make – up, correct eyebrow shaping, how to match your foundation and so much more, read the workshop information and If you have 10 or more ladies I will bring such a workshop to you in the comfort of your own home or office.
I also believe in staying updated with the latest trends and application techniques thus I attended a Hannon Faces training in 2007. Hannon is a well known make – up artists in the industry and I received the greatest compliment form him, it is always great to be recognized by your peers! “I thought that your work was outstanding, you were very well presented and I have no doubt that you will be very successful in your career as make-up artist.”
I have not looked back for a minute and have now outgrown my studio in my home! I have started with the plans to build my own studio adjacent to my home. One reason being that I still want to be close to my two daughters aged 7 and 4, and I don’t want to pay rent and have to ask astronomical fees.
I am very excited and can’t wait for the opening day!
It is very important to me that you as the bride feel comfortable in your skin and that you look magnificent and feel special on your wedding day!
